Cristiano Ronaldo has officially won the 2016 Ballon d’Or for the fourth time in his career

The Real Madrid forward was announced as the winner of the 2016 Ballon d’Or, taking the most prestigious
individual prize in world football on Monday night.

Respected publication, France Football, named the 31-year-old forward as its player of the year ahead of arch-rival Lionel Messi of Barcelona.
