The present King of Swaziland, Mswati III and also the head of the Swazi Royal Family has married 19-year-old Siphelele Mashwama as bride no.14th.
According to Buzz SA, King Mswati’s new bride, 19-years-old Siphelele Mashwama is the daughter of Jabulile Mashwama, a Swaziland Cabinet Minister.
However, it’s a common tradition in Swaziland for the king to choose a wife every year through the annual Reed Dance ceremony. This Swazi and Zulu tradition is held in August or September anually.
