Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate has been reviewing his campaign policies as nigerians can’t wait for campaign to commence next month.
Atiku is currently in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where he is spending the holiday with his family ahead of the rigorous campaign which is expected to take him to the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, seeking for Nigerian’s votes.
“Reviewing the final text of the #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain policy document to be presented to Nigerians,” the Adamawa-born politician wrote.
Atiku, 71, has been the using the slogan #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain even before the PDP’s presidential primary in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
His frequent use of social media to communicate with Nigerians have earned him both commendations and condemnations from both sides of the political divide. He is expected to be the main challenger to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s polls.
Meanwhile, the PDP says it is yet to name further members of its campaign council for the 2019 presidential election.
The national publicity secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists on Wednesday, October 24.
He urged all members to remain calm and await further announcement by the National Working Committee of the party on the final composition of the council.
