Gradually looking like only United are in the race for Jadon Sancho asked Borussia Dortmund are expecting Manchester United to bid £109million for Jadon Sancho – but much will depend on the Red Devils’ remaining Premier League results.
United’s chances of landing Sancho rest on whether they qualify for the Champions League, according to reports from Germany – and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side visit Crystal Palace on Thursday with their top-four hopes on a knife-edge.
Sancho is believed to be Solskjaer’s top target this summer, having scored 20 goals and provided 20 assists for Dortmund in all competitions this season.
But it was reported recently that United were only prepared to pay £50m for a player valued at more than twice that by his club.
However, they will be in a much better position to bid if they finish in the Premier League’s top four – and Champions League football will also make United a more attractive proposition to the world’s top players.
And with United in superb form heading towards the end of the season, Dortmund are braced for a club-record bid, according to German publication Bild.
